Comments

Italian Ryegrass is often used for erosion control. Though quite similar to perennial ryegrass, Italian Ryegrass is an annual or biennial. It grows to 2-3 feet tall. The plants have numerous long, narrow, stiff leaves near its base. The undersurface of the leaves is bright, glossy, and smooth. The flower stems are round and nearly naked. The flowers are spikes with a long bristle at the top of the stems.
